Does your car start while in "Drive"? That is a dangerous failure of the Neutral Safety Switch (NSS). This switch also typically controls your Reverse/Backup Lights.
Functions:
Safety Interlock: Prevents the starter from engaging unless the shifter is in Park or Neutral.
Backup Lights: Turns on the white reverse lights when you shift into Reverse.
Fitment: We carry the specific switches for column-shift and floor-shift automatics (C4, Torqueflite, Turbo Hydra-Matic).
