The Oil Filler Cap does more than just plug a hole—on vintage cars, it is often a critical part of the crankcase ventilation system.

Ventilated vs. Sealed

• Breather Caps: Many pre-PCV engines use a "Breather" style cap with wire mesh inside to filter air entering the engine. If this clogs, you blow seals.

• Sealed Caps: For closed PCV systems.

• Style: Chrome, painted, and "twist-on" or "push-on" styles to match your valve covers correctly.
