The Gold Standard: NOS Genuine Ford, Autolite & Motorcraft Parts
For a concours-correct restoration, "close enough" doesn't cut it. You need the real deal. At Old Car Parts NW, we curate a specific inventory of NOS (New Old Stock) parts that were manufactured by Ford and its original suppliers decades ago.
These aren't modern reproductions in plain white boxes; these are the original factory components that offer perfect fitment, superior plating, and the authentic appearance required for points-judged show cars.
Know Your Eras: FoMoCo vs. Autolite vs. Motorcraft
To help you find the correct part for your year, we stock all three major generations of genuine Ford packaging:
FoMoCo (1940s-1960s): The holy grail for early restorations. Packaged in the iconic red-and-white or early text-style boxes. Essential for restoring 1950s F-Series trucks, Thunderbirds, and Galaxie 500s.
Autolite (1960s-1972): In the muscle car era, Ford branded many ignition and electrical parts as Autolite. If you are restoring a 1965-1971 Mustang, Cougar, or Fairlane, an Autolite voltage regulator or spark plug wire set is the only way to look factory-correct.
Motorcraft (1972-Present): In 1972, Ford transitioned to the famous "Motorcraft" brand. We stock original 1970s and 80s "Red & Black" box Motorcraft parts that are far superior in quality to the current outsourced versions found at dealerships today.
Why Buy NOS?
No "Sort-Of" Fitment: Factory parts were engineered to fit your production line tolerances perfectly.
Superior Materials: Vintage electrical parts often used heavier copper windings and better contacts than modern lightweight replacements.
Investment Value: Authentic "Blue Box" or Autolite parts hold their value and increase the pedigree of your vehicle.
