Vintage Installation Note: This authentic piece of history features "Gasoline Activated Adhesive" instructions (common in the 1930s-1950s). "Remove the cloth from the back... and moisten cemented surface with gasoline." While a fascinating historical detail, for modern installation, we recommend using a contemporary spray adhesive or carpet glue to ensure a secure bond without the use of gasoline.
