New Old Stock (NOS) Standard Motor Products Neutral Safety Switch, Part Number NS-2 (also referred to as NS2). This switch replaces GM OEM P/N 1999232 and is suitable for various Chevrolet (Powerglide) and Pontiac (Hydra-Matic) passenger cars from 1950 through 1954. It prevents the engine from being started unless the transmission is in Neutral or Park for safety.
